What's New????

HBA1C CHANGES 2014

Changes to how your HbA1c measurements is recorded is on the way. Currently, HbA1c is recorded as a percentage (Optimal target ranges 6.0-7.0%) and will soon move across to Mmol/mol for consistency with reporting internationally. The target reporting ranges will remain the same, but be reported as optimal target ranges (42-53 Mmol/mol). For more on this please refer to:

Department of Veterans Affairs and Diabetes!!

Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) services are available for diabetes education and support. Ask you doctor to complete a DVA D904 Referral form and contact our services to arrange an appointment.

 

Pregnancy and Diabetes Services!!

DETA provides diabetes and pre pregnancy planning, diabetes and pregnancy managment for women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), Gestational Diabetes and type 1 and 2 diabetes.

Pregnancy support resources, managment devices, medication management, post pregnancy follow up and reminder testing is also provided. Click on our Links and Resources link to view our pregnancy and diabetes brochure.
